| The aim of this web site is to provide quick access to
economic and statistical data produced by the Department.
Where possible, data will be provided in PDF, Microsoft Word
or Microsoft Excel for downloading. The Government has created a new Department for Business, Innovation and Skills whose key role will be to build Britain’s capabilities to compete in the global economy. The Department will be created by merging BERR and DIUS. A new website will be created in due course. In the meantime, you can access the existing DIUS website at www.dius.gov.uk New BIS website launched. The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has launched its new interim website at www.bis.gov.uk. The site will keep you up to date with news from the Department and provide links to all of its policy information. The former BERR and DIUS websites will continue to run until a permanent BIS site is completed.
